The hypo/pastel morph of our bearded dragon has an overall reduction in pigmentation. This results in clear nails and a coloration that is very pale with very little pattern or highlights. The gene causing this trait can be carried in a non-expressed, heterozygous form, giving future offspring a possibility of expressing this morph.
Our bearded dragons are captive bred in our facility. Native to arid, rocky regions of Australia, these medium sized lizards are skilled climbers. The name bearded dragon comes from the spiny scales that cover their throat, which they can puff up a sign of dominance and defense. Bearded dragons like to bask, but also will spend part of the day in hiding spots. Their docile nature makes them a great pet choice.
