Why are your animals cheaper than some of the prices I see online?

Quite simply put, we price our animals to sell and we sell everything that we breed. Our quality is second to none and you can learn more about some of our happy customers here. We have been in business since 1985 and are continuing to grow our business, based on three important factors:

1. Great quality animals
2. Awesome customer service
3. Competitive prices

We have two large breeding facilities in Xenia, Ohio and each of our six Reptile departments has a dedicated manager and large team of care technicians that take care of housing, feeding, cleaning and breeding our animals, 365 days a year. This, along with out unsurpassed shipping record has helped us achieve our reputation as one of the very best breeders around.

Our founder John Mack, is renown industry wide as an honest, reliable, high quality breeder and it's a combination of these factors that has made us one of the three largest breeders and suppliers in the world today. John represents the Reptiles business on the Board of Directors for PIJAC and is on the CDC Zoonotic Diseases Committee. Additionally, we are accredited through the Better Business Bureau with its highest possible rating and offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee on all orders, so you can be very confident that you are ordering, at absolutely no risk, from one of the very best breeders and suppliers in the business.

Is the animal in the picture the actual animal I will receive?

The animal in the photos are a good representation of our animals, however all animals are unique and will vary slightly from the pictures. We do have a section called Reptique™ where you can purchase the exact animal pictured.

Are your animals guaranteed to be in stock?

We work hard to keep our website up to date, however, due to a high volume of business and a rapidly changing inventory the animal you ordered may not be in stock. In the event of this happening we will contact you. Please provide us with your best email and phone number to contact you if needed.

Can you sex animals?

Sexing of our reptiles are not 100% guaranteed. Babies and Juveniles are usually difficult to sex accurately. Our animal care technicians can try to sex your new pet, but we still cannot absolutely guarantee the results. There are some exceptions; we can sex our snakes, pythons, boas, older geckos and bearded dragons.

What strain of Albino are your leopard geckos?

We work with both Tremper Albino and Rainwater Albino in our colonies. Typically, we use Tremper Albino for most color morphs, but we do use the Rainwater for producing Albino Leucistics. Because we no longer track our geckos individually, we cannot say 100% which albino gene was used to produce those geckos.

Do Reptiles Bite?

All animals are individuals and will have different personalities. We cannot guarantee that animals will not bite.

I've heard reptiles and amphibians carry diseases, what do I need to know?

Zoonotic diseases are diseases that can be passed between animals and humans. These infectious diseases are not limited to reptile and amphibian pets. By practicing good sanitation and personal hygiene the risk can be minimized. It is also advised to have all new pets examined and tested by a licensed veterinarian prior to introducing them to your home.
