Tarantula - Chilean Copper
These beautiful tarantulas are great for the beginner keepers. They are known to be more of a docile and hardy spider but can also be a bit of a slow eater. Provide several inches of substrate in their environment, they like to burrow.
Tarantula - Pink Toe
Known for the pink tips on the end of each leg, they can also have pink to reddish hairs on their legs and abdomens. These hardy tarantulas require humidity levels around 60-70% and prefer a tall environment to climb in.
Tarantula - Usambara Starburst Baboon
These fast moving tarantulas like to burrow and also make elaborate homes with their webbing. These are generally recommended for a more advanced keeper due to their temperament and painful bite.
Tarantula - Striped Knee
This beautiful species prefers higher humidity around 70% and temps between 75-80 degrees. They are known to be docile however they can be skittish as well. You may notice it take a threat pose and could even kick urticating hairs.
Tarantula - Rosehair
The Rosehair is a great beginner tarantula as they are easy to care for and tend to be docile. Do not be alarmed if your Rosehair goes on a fast, this is common among them. A well fed Rosehair can go a few months without eating.
